STUDIO COHAKU is a design firm that engages in hands-on experimentation with new materials and techniques, applying gained ideas and knowledge to foster positive cycles within each project. Concurrently, we aim to bring diverse perspectives to each project by managing the entire process, from design to sales, of our original brand 'limited.

Kunikazu Hamanishi

Born in Kanagawa, Japan, graduated from Tama Art University, and worked in interior design for about 7 years at Tanseisha Co. He studied furniture design in Denmark and established Hamanishi DESIGN in 2015. Exhibited at domestic and international exhibitions such as Milano Salone in Italy and Stockholm Furniture Fair, etc.

Tatsuo Kuroda

Born in Hokkaido, Japan, graduated from Tama Art University and received a master's degree in sustainable design from DESIGN ACADEMY EINDHOVEN in the Netherlands. After that, he established his own studio and has been working as a product designer, focusing on furniture design. Released "knot chair" from Normann Copenhagen, Denmark.
