A glass inspired by the sacred image of the traditional Sakazuki sake cup, designed for everyday use. In an era where sake is enjoyed worldwide, we collaborated with Hirota Glass, a company with a long history, to create a sake glass that complements modern lifestyles. Based on the traditional Japanese shakkan-hō measurement system, the glass is meticulously designed to reveal the form of a Sakazuki at a 1/2-go (approximately 90ml) capacity. Achieving this required advanced craftsmanship to maintain a thin glass thickness from the rim to the base. The glass is shaped for a comfortable grip, with a capacity of 1-go (approximately 180ml), making it suitable for daily use. Made of heat-resistant glass, it accommodates hot sake as well as a variety of other beverages, combining functionality and beauty in its design.
